Where does Scriben process my data?+
Scriben uses trusted cloud providers to operate the service. Our privacy policy explains how customer data is handled.
What stays local, and what goes to the cloud?+
The pen captures and stores audio locally without an internet connection. Nothing is uploaded until you choose to sync for transcription, memory, and approved workflows.
Is my data used to train AI?+
We do not use customer content to train Scriben models.
How is my data encrypted?+
Scriben encrypts your data in transit and at rest.
How do I permanently delete data?+
You can delete an individual recording, transcript, or note, or delete the entire account and its conversation content.
What is Scriben’s SOC 2 status?+
Scriben is preparing for a SOC 2 Type I examination. Controls are monitored in Vanta; a Type I report has not yet been issued.
